Disguised as a man, Hua Mulan joins the army to protect her family. She proves her worth in battle, earning the trust of her comrades. After successfully tricking the enemy, she is wounded and cared for by fellow soldier Du. Mulan’s true identity is revealed, but she is spared execution through the support of her comrades.
