Originally from New York, Maia has appeared extensively on and off-Broadway, in regional theatre and on film and television. She has had long-running contract roles on several soap operas, including stints as Glenda Toland on Another World, Katie Whitney on The Doctors, and Judy Barclay on All My Children.
