When former child soldier Baba rescues Freddy from a sexual assault, something dark is ignited in them. The pair's lust for each other takes over and creates a truly deadly duo. DS Lola Franks and DI Jackson Mendy get thrown together to investigate the murder of the pair's first victim.

Lola and Jackson find one thing they can agree on after interviewing Freddy – there is definitely something not right about her. Freddy draws Baba deeper into her dangerous world as the pair seize upon an opportunity to solve two problems with another killing.

Freddy and Baba flee the city with victim number three in the boot of the car, while Jackson and Lola, often at odds about the best way to catch a killer, make an important breakthrough over a cup of green tea.

Looks like Baba and Freddy have got away with murder, but why are they celebrating with a trip back to Freddy’s old school…? And why are Lola and Jackson wandering around the forest in search of a stick…?

Freddy’s dark history surfaces as she and Baba don Halloween masks to gain entry to her old school. Jackson and Lola find evidence that links the pair to the third victim, but will they join the dots in time to save a fourth?

Looks like the end of the road for Freddy and Baba, trapped in a remote cottage by Lola, Jackson and a squad of armed response officers. With the trail behind them strewn with bodies, surely they can’t escape justice...?
