Overview: SHI MAY was disheartened because KWAN didn't leave the clan business completely, she determined to leave him. KWAN was distressed and all the days got drunk. In order to upgrade his position in the society, he disclosed to KWAN CHI that he had slept with SIN MEI. CHI was angry and agreed to their marriage. With the help from SZE HO, JOE's business was getting better which made him become snobbish. KUEN was dissatisfied with his behavior. He brought JOE'S mother and TAY to Macau to disclose his relationship with SZE HO. JOE's mother raged and told JOE to swear that he would look after TAY. JOE dared not to say a word. WAN CHI was very sad, as she believed that KWAN was dead. After SHI MAY told her that KWAN was still alive, she hurried to Macau and revealed her love to him. KWAN was drunken and recognized wrongly WAN CHI as SHI MAY, they slept together.
