Overview: In order to get the trust from LOK, LAM JOE sent his follower to disguise as the contact person on behalf of drug-trafficker. He killed him to show he was innocent and deceived LOK by false pretence. Finally, LOK believed him. LAM JOE tried to distract LOK's attention by providing more chances to meet SHI MAY, so as to improve their relation. However, MAY didn't have the feeling of love towards him which made LOK disappointed. When the police advocated anti-corruption, WAH BILL was be charged of bribery, which was even publicized by press. LOK determined to help leaving Hong Kong at every means and promised to wipe off his charge. HONG KWAN was sick of clans' society and intended to leave Hong Kong as soon as possible. He made his last request to SHI MAY. However, SHI MAY wasn't moved. KWAN was provoked and went to the States.
