Overview: NICK tells ALLY he wants to break up with her. He and MAN have a heart-to-heart talk on their respective unhappy childhoods. ALLY is jealous of their intimacy and asks to meet MAN. She takes MAN for a ride with her sitting behind the wheel. As the car races the highway at full speed, it collides with CHUNG’s vehicle, injuring all three of them. NICK rushes to the hospital to find ALLY uninjured, and MAN loses her sight temporarily due to an injury to the optic nerves. Again, NICK and ALLY quarrel. NICK declares his love for MAN. She is at once shocked and pleased. FA is impressed by NICK’s care of MAN and urges her to accept his love. Seeing her daughter distressed, HANG encourages ALLY to focus on her career and leave personal affair aside. MEI decides to further her studies in Canada when the case comes to an end. MAN is happy for her decision. KAN comes pressing PUN to pay his debts, assuming the loan is lent out by Tung Chuen.
