Overview: It is the year 2000 and robots have been put in charge of making other robots when there are no longer enough people to do the work. Astro Boy dreams of having a real mother, just like human boys. The robot workers are making an experimental new robot named Colosso who goes berserk and escapes shortly after coming to life. The only hope is for Astro Boy to stop him before he cause too much trouble. (In the original Japanese version, Colosso was named "Frankenstein")
