Overview: The Princess is delighted to see Dan again and tells him of her affection for him. However, Ian holds no special feelings for her and this makes the Princess very disappointed. Yuen wants to make use of this chance to win the heart of the Princess. Yet the Princess cannot drive Len out of her mind and Yuen feels handicapped in this. Dan gradually grows proud of his own intelligence and appears arrogant. Enmity develops between him and the other court officials. The ESeneror's mother does not like Dan who intrvgues with Chi to win her trust. In the end, the Emperor's mother hates him no more and even arranges the Princess to marry him. However? Dan wittily refuses the kind offer of the Emperor's mother. This brings much shame to the Princess. At that time, the Emperor's uncle consoles his daughter and the two grow close as before.
