Overview: Hatred between LONG and MAN breeds as they scramble for power. Both of them try to trap each other. MAN suffers great loss and to avenge on LONG, he reports LONG 's illegal business. dealing to the police. In the end, LONG also suffers heavy loss. CHING eventually knows HU's whereabouts and goes to find him. HUNG is unhappy to see CHING and HU being so friendly and intimate. Her dissatisfaction grows as she learns that CHING proposes to accompany HU to England -since the news agency HU is working for asks him to report duty. HU gives up his job as a foreign correspondent and returns to Hong Kong. He discloses his findings concerning the explosion of the liner on the newspaper. This arouses attention of the police who decide}to look into the matter. Fearing that his involvement will be revealed, KUAN has Ho murdered making the whole act appear like HO suicide out of his sense of guilt.
