Overview: WAI is very happy as he has married LING and at the same time he has the chance to be promoted as an inspector. For his career, WAI devotes most of his time to work and LING is discontented. They have some arguments. WAI arrests a drug addict PING TAK. SING wants WAI to release PING TAK but WAI refuses to do so for private reasons. LING always respects PING TAK. She thinks that WAI arrests him only to show his talent. As PING TAK kills himself, LING thinks that WAI should be responsible of this. They argue again. SING know that he has liver cancer. He takes refuge away from LING but LING still tries to find him. LING meets CHING and she wants to how CHING's feeling towards her. She is disappointed. as CHING regards her as his sister only. As CHING's performance is good, he is invited to be a share holder of the company. He is excited.
