Overview: Chia-ming insists on joining the operation and comes up with an ingenious scheme. The trio successfully take away a batch of tobacco and hide it in an old godown. On learning of this, gang boas Lung Cheng is furious and orders Chi to be in hot pursuit of them. Chen Hua confides to Chou Shu-chuan his intention to quit the bakery and she reveals it to Chen Kuei. Chen takes Chen Hue to task as a result. Shu-chuan feels sorry about this. Chia-ming adnires Ku Hsiao-ya who appears in a photo on the show window of a photo studio. Chen Hua snatches it away for him and Chia-ming takes it home, thinking of her day and night. Yu-fang introduces Chi a-ming to study in Pu Tung Middle School.
