Change of Hart

Episode 1
Several months after opening one of Las Vegas’s most popular tattoo parlors, the founding owners are at odds over what direction to take their business. Harts wants to push the shop as a Vegas hot spot, while Huntington has other ideas. If the two can’t agree, the shop will have to close.

Pull It Together, Dizzle

Dizzle, the shop's helper, wants to become an apprentice and learn the art of tattooing. It is hard for Thomas to take him seriously as Dizzle is always goofing off and has trouble focusing on his duties. If he is really serious about the apprenticeship, Dizzle must prove it to Thomas and Clark. They earned their wings the hard way and they expect no less of Dizzle.

The Trouble With Quinn

Flighty receptionist Quinn has been running wild and shop manager Monica puts her foot down. Word has it that Quinn will be getting the ax. Before Monica can make her move, things get even more difficult.

It's not easy dating a tattoo artist. Just ask H & H manager Monica, whose relationship with co-owner Thomas has taken a messy turn. It's tears and turmoil at the tattoo shop when Monica breaks down during a live Tony Hawk radio broadcast from H & H.

Meet the New Boss

There's a new boss in town as former receptionist, Brian, has been promoted to manager. Brian's new job is certainly not an easy one, especially as troubles with the receptionists and helpers seem endless.

Vegas is proving to be too small a town for Thomas and Carey who can't wait to head to Florida to scout out the location for the new shop. But troubles from home seem to follow them everywhere. Meanwhile back at the shop, Quinn is looking to bust out in her own particular way with a trip to the plastic surgeon.

Get a Leg Up, Thomas

Thomas is commissioned to "tattoo" a model's prosthetic leg, but every time he goes to put brush to limb, something comes up and the leg is put on the shelf. Over time that proves to be a bit of a problem, because the woman needs it back. But just when Thomas is finally about to get down to business, an unexpected event throws him for a loop and the fate of the leg is put into question.

Carey struggles with the decision to return to competitive riding as financial pressures force him back on his bike for the first time since his near fatal accident. Thomas faces his own fears about his skill as an artist as does his toughest tattoo to date. And the entire Hart & Hunnington crew plan a charity auction for the kids of The Ronald McDonald House.

After nearly a year, the shop is still not operating like a well-oiled machine or making money for that matter and it's beginning to take a toll on the owners. To make matters worse, Carey and Thomas's personal relationship is also suffering. An old friend, though, comes back to town and suddenly everything changes.

Huntington & Hart serves several colorful characters today. A man comes in to get his second tattoo in honor of Angelina Jolie - this one will say "Billy Bob." Melissa gets a pair of eyes just below her navel so they can overlook the "family jewels." And on a more poignant note, Lucas arrives to finish a piece by adding an angel to a portrait of Jesus. The angel is a tribute to his three-year-old daughter who died when her mother backed over her with the family car.

Skindred Spirits & the Salute

Timothy, who just flew back from Iraq, joins his sister to get "Big Bro" and "Little Sis" tattoos. Another man gets an Amsterdam coat of arms in memory of his late father who was in a concentration camp. Derek gets a tattoo of a space alien in honor of a wheelchair-bound friend. And a New York City cop who relocated to Las Vegas gets a tattoo tribute to his friends who died on 9/11.

The Proposal and the Impersonator

A surprise engagment begins the day at H&H, but not before Jesse tattoos the young lovers names in Thai. Lacey's parents come in to get some family ink and leave smiling. Clark does a portrait for Scott to memorialize his late fiancé Dana and Lacey tats Steve, a Cher impersonator who gets a crystal on his forearm.

Rockers and Ribbons

Jeph from emo-core band "The Used" gets a unicorn tattoo by artist Josh while Monica gets a bird tattoo from Matt Victor. Karsten & Courtney get tattoos to symbolize important people in their lives and Liz gets a ribbon to mark her organ transplant experience.

Cover-Ups and Pin-Ups

Tattos are the name of the game at H&H tattoo company. After four years of sobriety, Brandi decides to get the AA symbol on her back to remind her of her battle with drugs and alcohol. Marc gets the eyes of his children on his back to honor his blood. Teshona and Krista both get cover-ups that make their old tattoos something better. Last, but not least Shaun gets a pin-up girl on his arm by artist Josh.

Traditional & Tributes

In this episode, traditional and tribute tattoos are the taste of the day at Hart & Huntington. Artists Big E and Jesse do a sparrow and a sacred heart respectively and Josh does a tribute for Sean who lost a firefighter buddy during 9/11. Matt Victor also does two tats which mark new beginings for each of the clients.

Dominoes & DNA

Another day full of tattoos at H&H: Lacey tats dominoes on her friend Bernie as tribute to his son, Toni the Tranny comes in for a back tat and Anthony gets his DNA symbol on his arm. Last but not least, Chaun, an ex-Marine turned Islam commemerates his beliefs with a tat by Josh.

Pain & Pride

First, Josh tats a Marine who is celebrating his service to his country. Next, two best friends get roses by Twig as a tribute to their friendship. Young Motocross star Josh Hansen comes in and gets a huge arm piece while Vegas punk band Peccadilloes creates havoc in the shop.

Tat stories continue with Jea; a breast cancer survivor who gets a ladybug. Texas Rancher Richard, also a cancer survivor, gets a werewolf on his arm. Next, J. Medicine Hat gets Sitting Bull's autograph while snowboarding legend Mark Frank Montoya gets a tattoo by Twig.

Inked is a documentary television series about the employees of the Hart & Huntington Tattoo Company in the Las Vegas Valley. The series was created by Jeff Bowler in 2005, and was broadcast by the A&E Network. The theme song was written and performed by Height of Roman Fashion.
