Four couples try to find out in sunny Italy whether they are with the right person or whether there is someone who is better for them. The partners are separated from each other and come into contact with singles who are looking for a serious relationship. During several dates they get the opportunity to make a deeper connection and grow as a person. Do the participants return to their steady partner after the experiment?

Saying goodbye to their partners is especially difficult for women. The men seem to have less trouble making the connection with the singles and things start quickly. During the first group date, the possible connections are further explored.

Today there are single dates on the program for the first time. The partners will have the opportunity to forge a deeper connection with their favorite bachelor. The connection amulet is also introduced. This gives the partners and singles the opportunity to extend the date.
