Peter, a deceased Filipino-Chinese businessman, returns as a ghost and is bonded to Romy, a Filipino caretaker of a columbarium. He discovers that his family declared his death a suicide which is most unlikely of him. Not able to recall how he really died, he sets out for the truth with the help of Romy. They do not expect the complexity of what unravels. It thrusts us into the spicy play of Chinese and Filipino cultures, and their socio-political dynamics. Episode 1
Romy, a janitor who works at a Chinese columbarium accidentally wakes Peter, a deceased Fil-Chi businessman.
Episode 2
Peter pleads to a reluctant Romy to go inside the dim sum place and talk to Ethan, his son.
Episode 3
Romy becomes Ethan’s driver. Peter directs Romy to find out why they think he committed suicide.
Episode 4
A huge party is hosted by the Ong family. Ethan finds out that he’s being kaishiao to a stranger named Samantha.
Episode 5
Peter starts to “lose his spirit”. This causes his form to fluctuate and now seems in danger of disappearing.
Episode 6
Liam is in checked into a rehab center by his mother. Peter helps Romy mend his broken relationship with his family.
Episode 7
Esther, determined to make it big, slithers her way into deals with Hong Kong companies.
Episode 8
Ethan visits Peter’s epitaph, he is now allowed to cross the other side. Liam apologizes to Peter through Romy.
