Join the 2-time Super Bowl MVP as he takes on his own version of his brother’s signature show to explore what makes college football a way of life across the country. Eli will travel to some of the most well-known and historic college football establishments and meet with giants in the sport to better understand what makes college football such a national sensation
Episode 1
Eli meets up with Peyton and is sent off to examine the birth of college football. Joining forces with actor and comedian Jon Stewart, he explores the history of college football’s first game between Princeton and Rutgers in 1869.
Episode 2
Eli looks into the politics of winning the iconic award. He revisits his own experience as a runner up and visits with some other people who might have experience in that realm.
Episode 3
Eli catches up with the greatest coach in College Football history and discusses his process. The coach also shares some funny stories and gets Eli into the water to try his luck at tubing.
Episode 4
Eli explores the nature of recruiting in the world of College Football. He meets with LSU Head Coach Ed Orgeron and even gets some recruiting advice from his brother, Peyton.
Episode 5
Eli meets up with astrophysicist Neil DeGrasse Tyson and famed Harvard alum Ryan Fitzpatrick to discuss how both Yale and Harvard played a role in the origin story of college football.
Episode 6
Eli travels around the country to talk about different types of offensive schemes. Eli speaks with Lincoln Riley, Steve Spurrier about his Fun 'n' Gun, Barry Switzer about his Wishbone offense and looks back at the history of these systems.
Episode 7
Eli catches up with some of the greatest running backs of all time, something he could never physically do on a football field. Manning details the storied careers of some of the greats and even chats with a couple of them. Eli catches a ride with legendary Texas A&M running back Eric Dickerson. Dickerson then drives Eli to a yoga studio in Los Angeles to meet with Ricky Williams, another great college running back.
Episode 8
Eli travels the country to learn about the football history of historically black colleges and universities. To do so, he speaks with some of the greatest players of all time, including the legendary Jerry Rice.
Episode 9
Eli explores some of college football’s greatest finishes, connecting with Doug Flutie to discuss Boston College’s famous Hail Mary win against Miami in 1984.
Episode 10
The 10th and final episode features Eli returning to his alma mater with his Father, Archie. Both of these legendary quarterbacks were the big man on campus in their times and they explain just what that experience was like.
