Episode 1

In this opener, Rawlinson is dead which causes the smooth running of the underworld to become disrupted. This causes the Asian, West Indian, and white communities gangsters to begin looking for a new leader. At the same time, the police release prisoner John Kline, who could possibly be the leading contender for Rawlinson's job.

Kline and Khan have only seconds to act as Malleson prepares to take them both down.

A shipment of heroin goes missing. Rafiq and Khan begin searching an abandoned train station for the stash.

On the top of a modern skyscraper block, there is a general falling out of friends as John Kline is facing execution at the hands of three gunmen.

Episode 5

Kline's temporary belief in ghosts ends when Sarah Gant lures him to a secret rendezvous. What is her connection with the now deceased stripper Dinah Carmichael?

21st October 1976

Episode 6

John Kline barely keeps his head above water but is getting closer to learning his real identity. Meanwhile, Khan plunges into the deep end.
