Overview: Valerian and Laureline are to fly a rare creature to a zoo, but before they can, it breaks out of its cage and releases a bird that bites Valerian's shoulder. The bird's poison causes insanity, then death, so it's up to Laureline to get an antidote, which requires a flower from the tree with 100,000 limbs.
