Call for Help, also known as CFH, was a computer-themed television program that first aired exclusively on TechTV, a cable and satellite television network focused on technology, and then aired on G4techTV Canada and the HOW TO Channel in Australia. The final taped episode aired on February 26, 2007, but because the episodes were taped out of order, a number of other episodes taped during the same shooting week aired through April 6, 2007. A spin-off called The Lab with Leo Laporte aired much of the same content as Call for Help and ran on the same networks. The Lab was canceled about one year later due to low viewer ratings and the final episode aired in August 2008.
Episode 1
Andy gives an introduction to Bluetooth, Monica demonstrates "Veeper" animated images, and guest Mark Douglas showed off some X-Box mods. Calls were answered dealing with CD burning, game backups, problematic mice, and applications that wouldn't close.
Episode 2
Monica shows some alternate mouse pointers, and Andy shows how to set up a home network. Leo answers calls about AMD speeds, screen savers, video cards, and programming on OS X.
Episode 3
Looking at file sharing and some experimental food websites. Also, Amber MacArthur made her CFH debut with a Web Workshop that gives an introduction to blogging. Calls deal with LCD Monitors, Media Center software, web-based photo albums, reading Mac disks on Windows, and video cards.
Episode 4
Monica looks at Firefox extensions, Andy explains Windows XP's System Restore, and calls are answered dealing with Wi-Fi ranges, Microsoft .NET, networking Windows and Mac machines, monitor problems, and DVD authoring.
Episode 5
Andy demonstrates Windows' Disk Cleanup, Monica shows how to erase Internet Browsing history, and guest John Christopher talks about hard drive recovery. Calls deal with hard drives, faxing drawings, virus protection, and Windows/OS X compatibility.
Episode 6
Andy explains SP2, and Monica looks again at Firefox extensions. Guest Mark Douglas looks at PVR alternatives, and Leo answers calls dealing with online video, DVD recording, Windows errors, and the Windows welcome screen.
Episode 7
Andy talks cell phones, and Monica looks at some more Firefox extensions. Guest Amber MacArthur gives a basic intro to finding a domain name and starting up a web site. Calls deal with spyware, web-page compatibility, the iPod Mini, and the default directory in Windows Explorer.
Episode 8
Andy discusses drivers, Monica looks at bored.com, and guest Marcel Gagne talks Linux. Callers ask about file sorting, Windows Explorer's default directory, Z-Modem protocols, and dying laptop batteries.
Episode 9
Andy talks about cleaning up liquid spills around computers, and Monica looks at a PC diagnostic program, and Guest John Christopher shares some hard drive horror stories. Calls deal with digital cameras, Linux on a Mac, and if moving from XP Home to Professional is worth it.
Episode 10
Andy looks at TV on the PC, Monica discusses Winamp, and guest Jim Sanderson demonstrates some Word customisations. Callers ask about PDA's, using Wi-Fi on an iBook, programs that can't be removed, and file sharing between computers with Windows.
Episode 12
Andy explains networking over power lines, and Monica runs through some online image storage sites. Guest Sean Carruthers shows off some MP3 players, and Leo answers calls dealing with iTunes, comparisons between audio files, video editing software, and removing DRM from .wma files.
Episode 13
Andy demonstrates the use of a mobile phone as a wireless modem, and Monica looks at some online virus scanners. Guest and Web Specialist Amber MacArthur talks about HTML editors, and Leo answers calls asking about remote PC access, getting WMA onto a Mac, sharing Outlook inboxes between users, and the space needed for defragging.

Andy shows how to add more RAM, Monica looks at places to make friends online, and CFH's Office expert Jim Sanderson talks about Powerpoint. Calls deal with the integrity of data moving around the world, Linux for a beginner, finding old arcade ROMs, and problems downloading .zip files in IE.

Monica introduces bitTorrent, Andy looks at home network troubleshooting, and guest Amber MacArthur goes over some HTML basics. Calls deal with Wi-Fi standards, setting up Linux on a Mac, alternatives to Norton, and using RAM disks.

Andy talks about defragmenting, Monica looks at metroblogging, and guest Greg Danbrooke demonstrates retouching in Photoshop. Callers ask about Firefox compatability, mouse problems, the need to enter a password in Windows XP, monitoring network bandwidth, and hard drive drivers.
