Set in Chicago, the show follows the kid-friendly misadventures of two high-school friends who are always scheming and dreaming. Kenan, who works at a grocery store, constantly devises crazy plans to strike it rich, while orange-soda-loving buddy Kel is always dragged along for the ride despite his track record for messing things up.

A love letter won't do when Kenan tries to catch the eye of his dream girl. So he enlists Kel's help in stringing a banner across the top of a skyscraper.

When Kenan almost chokes on a screw in a sandwich, he and Kel decide to sue the food company for $10 million.

Kenan's dream date is marred when Kel spills soda pop on the girl's beautiful sweater, which was knitted by her late grandma.

When his homemade cold remedy cures Kel, Kenan mistakenly slips some to his air-traffic controller dad.

After the guys get bounced from a dance club for being underage, they decide to open their own place at Chris's store.

While Kenan is home alone, his father's prized pet cockatoo dies, and he and Kel scramble to replace the bird.

An embarrassing message left on the answering machine of the boss of Kenan's father forces Kenan to join Kel on an impossible mission to switch the tape.

The guys suspect Kenan's father of being a jewel thief after they find some specious stones in the house.

In the basement of Rigby's, the guys find a map that leads them to a safe which they think may be connected to the mob.
Episode 14
Kenan saves the President from an accident at Rigby's, so the Chief Executive invites the guys to visit him at the White House.
