When Spencer gets invited to a laser quest party, Jonathan is so distracted by over-parenting the situation that he risks embarrassing Spencer and losing his job.

It's Spencer's birthday and he wants the whole family to go a zombie-themed hotel. But Dan and Courtney are not speaking and Jonathan and Claire are still awkward since the kiss.
