Among the dockworkers of Le Havre, Pierre Leprieur is a respected figure. Although his integrity has earned him a few enemies, most of his colleagues support him in his determination to eradicate the drug trafficking that plagues the port. On the evening of his sixtieth birthday, when he learns that his two sons, Jean and Simon, have been taken into custody in a cocaine case, his life is turned upside down. Convinced that he is the target of a plot, he asks Emma, his lawyer daughter, to help him. But the past and its darker side resurface in the form of Pierre's brother Christophe, who has returned to Le Havre after years of absence...Episode 2

He meets the powerful union boss, Sébastien Prévost, and tries to find out more about those involved in the drug trade. As he approaches sixty, the time has come for Pierre Leprieur to take stock of his life. What did he accomplish and what did he mess up during his life? He was formerly an influential trade unionist on the docks at Le Havre. The passing years saw his relationship with his wife and his now-adult children subside. One evening, with his whole family gathered together to celebrate his birthday, the party is ruined. His sons, Jean and Simon, find themselves accused of mass drug trafficking. Whilst their sister, Emma, a criminal lawyer, tries to get them out of this difficult situation, Pierre, who si convinced that he is being targeted, does his utmost to help them. Yet he knows that if he roots around too much, he could end up unearthing truths best left untold.
