Alison is blindsided when Ethan gives her two weeks' notice to vacate the house. It seems Ethan only cares about Sean's money, and Alison can't help but question his motives.

Alison learns that the watch Sean was wearing before he disappeared is in the possession of Michael. An anonymous police tip-off results in his arrest, but evidence raises doubts about Michael's involvement.

With Hannah vowing to clear her father's name, Dan takes Alison to a mountain retreat where he suggests that they could move away to start a new life together.
