In the small town of Jehanabad, where innocent love, in the form of a young independent college student and her professor, and intense violence, with the arrival of a seasoned Naxal commander and an ex-MLA eyeing the Dalit vote bank, are brewing parallelly, they are bound to cross paths.
Episode 1
A notorious criminal is transferred to the Jehanabad jail, while an ever-fragrant Kasturi is drawn to her new, righteous teacher, Abhimanyu. As romance brews in the college, violence boils in the jail; and with many characters crossing paths in this small town, their worlds are set to irreparably collide.
Episode 2
Abhimanyu and Suraj Singh, a student leader, come face to face when Suraj induces caste-based violence against a fellow student. The scuffle eventually brings Abhimanyu and Kasturi closer before their lives are struck by a not-so-uncommon tragedy.
Episode 3
Pradeep Kumar’s death splits the entire town in two - those who consider the crime of no consequence and those who believe it to be an act of a brutal hate crime. A diplomatic Abhimanyu and activist Deepak set out to bring justice to Pradeep.
Episode 4
Durgesh puts a beaten-up Deepak in solitary confinement while Kumud does the same with Kasturi. Kasturi eventually manages to escape with a little help from her loved ones and professes her love for Abhimanyu.
Episode 5
A love-struck Kasturi faces unwavering resistance from her mother, while in college she faces incessant rejection from Abhimanyu. In the meantime, Rajendra calls out Kumud for betraying her own daughter.
Episode 6
Naxal trainee Pramod rats out the next attack plan, while Durgesh mocks Deepak over the upcoming Naxal attack. Meanwhile, Kasturi and Abhimanyu officially begin dating.
Episode 7
Abhimanyu’s uncle meets Kasturi’s family to finalise the date of the engagement, and wedding preparations begin while the jail's security is tightened. Meanwhile, Abhimanyu plans to enter the jail but fails and he is caught in a spot.
Episode 8
The Naxals quietly smuggle their arms into Jehanabad. Meanwhile, despite his engagement and apparent closeness with Kasturi, Abhimanyu continues to use the Mishras for the Naxal agenda.
Episode 9
Abhimanyu realises his true feelings for Kasturi and his closeness with Kasturi is also evident to his uncle. Between the battle of love and duty, Abhimanyu fights to seek a middle ground.
Episode 10
Janki Kund is abuzz with the wedding, and the Naxals are excited as well as the time to attack is here. The elections begin, and the clock starts ticking. On the wedding night, while the entire town comes under siege, Abhimanyu and Kasturi's fates hang in the balance.
