As bats look down from the cave's ceiling, Magoo starts a shocking conga line, dancing with everyone as lights from his robot costume blink back and forth.

Waldo calls Mr. Magoo. He is to be a big singer on the TV talent show "Top the Music." Inspired by the possibility of winning a prize, Prezley comes up with a plan for his friend Waldo to win the contest. He plants a speaker inside the young fellow's jacket and has Waldo lip-sync to a pop version of "Jimmy Crack Corn." Unfortunately, a jealous winner on the show, Squirrley Evans, exposes the two. The wrong record is put on with only animal sounds. Waldo is embarrassed, but Magoo is pleased.

Magoo leaves his mom's house and goes to a pizza parlor, where Beatnik jazz is playing. He keeps confusing the tablecloth with his meal. His lunch is the tablecloth instead of the pizza pie. Then he tries to catch a train and winds up in a railroad car diner near the station. Oh, Magoo, you've done it again!

Mr. Magoo needs money, so he calls up and enters Waldo in a Wild West rodeo. Waldo tries bull riding, and the bull kicks Waldo right out of the arena. He tries bronc riding, but he gets all tied up. Finally, Waldo "accidentally" wins first prize: a tough bronc to take home with him. Meanwhile, Magoo attempts to overcome an obstacle to riding a horse.

Their efforts to capturing the beast are hampered by an unhappy hunter who wants the pair to help return him to the States. They plan to scare him by disguising Ralph as a gangster who wants to "take him for a ride." But Magoo, thinking that the place is Al's Used Cars, takes control of the car and creates havoc along the way. Magoo leaves the show happy, and it's the host and Ralph who are screaming!
