The story of Sunshine follows the life of Jacob, a young, aspiring South Sudanese-Australian basketball player who is on the cusp of being picked up by US scouts for the US College league.
Episode 1
A luxury Porsche is stolen by Santino, who arrives back in Sunshine to take his teammates for a joyride. But by the end of the night a young girl from the affluent Messina family will be lying in a hospital bed fighting for her life.
