Overview: In 1975 the Marquis, Don Alberto and Curro went to meet Picazo to dissuade him and make him see reason. He does not rise up and a spiral of violence is set in motion in which five people will die. In 1977 Doña Concha, worried because Onofre has been talking to her mother, sends the Marquis to silence him. Thus the final confrontation between the Marquis and Onofre takes place.
