Leaving L.A. is an American drama television series that aired from April 12 until June 14, 1997. The series was drama with dark comedic elements about the morbidly merry crew working in the L.A. County Coroner's Office and investigating suspicious deaths.

Reed and Libby must deal with a grieving widower and the widower's stepson who believes his mother was murdered.

The coroner's office is quarantined for 48 hours after exposure to a highly contagious plague.

Reed and Libby investigate an accident involving a carload of Elvis impersonators and when Dudley's father, suffering with cancer, dies of an apparent suicide, the police question Dudley's involvement with the death.
