Episode 2

Mr. Reeder investigates the disappearance of the managing director of the Telfer Consolidated, along with £150,000. He is meanwhile intrigued by the petty theft of some marble chips from a local stonemason's yard.

The Green Mamba

Episode 3

A woman seeks revenge on Mr. Reeder after her husband is convicted of forgery.

Sheer Melodrama

Episode 4

A failed jewel thief from India and a successful forger find that they have a hatred of J. G. Reeder in common.

The Strange Case

Episode 5

Lord Sellington asks the D.P.P. to investigate his estranged son, whom he suspects of stealing from the Sellington Refugee Fund.

The Poetical Policeman

Episode 6

Mr. Lambton Green, branch manager of the London Scottish and Midland Bank, is arrested for embezzlement, but Mr. Reeder doubts his guilt.

Mr. Reeder pits his wits against Art Lomer, producer of a U.S. theatrical company and a successful international confidence trickster, in London to pull off an audacious fraud.

Episode 8

Mr. Reeder investigates the disappearances of several people who had invested in a secretive company.
