Maggie babysits for a friend in hopes of coming up with enough money to cover Mark's braces, but the girl is not the angel Maggie is led to believe.

Len considers a career switch after learning that a former colleague has struck it rich outside the teaching profession.

Bruce's Birthday Party

14th November 1981

Episode 4

The girls goad Maggie into throwing a birthday party for Bruce, but Buffy's diamond ring winds up in an unlikely place during the event.

Marriage Encounter

30th April 1982

Episode 5

Maggie and her husband Len, on their way to a marriage encounter session, make a wrong turn and wind up stranded when the car runs out of gas.

Alienation of Affection

Episode 6

Maggie returns from a trip to hear nothing but rave reviews of Loretta's housekeeping.

Mark's Shrink

Episode 7

Maggie takes Mark to see a therapist in hopes of curing his problem. The doctor recommends that Len project a more masculine image to his son.

Maggie the Poet

Episode 8

Pressure from her mother leads Maggie to take up poetry again, but after selling her first poem to a newspaper, Maggie suffers writer's block. (Last show of the series.)
