Aspiring screenwriter Aayush Verma navigates the bylanes of the Mumbai film industry and etches a bittersweet migrant fairy tale through his personal friendships and professional fall-outs, to make it into the world of ‘Industry’.
Episode 1
Aayush narrates his 26th script - Dhoom Dhadaka - with the hope of getting it produced with his name in the credit, but he stumbles upon unprecedented troubles from producer Rakesh Raman and actor Kunal Kumar.
Episode 2
Aayush gets Producer Juggy Wadhwani’s actor son Rocky excited for his script Dhoom Dhadaka but his co-writer, Gayatri has another story idea - Swaadanusar which Aayush ends up pitching in his desperation to get his career started. TV star Sanya and Ayush become friends.
Episode 3
Aayush and Rocky try to get Dhoom Dhadaka greenlit but they are both treated as newbies in the Industry. Meanwhile, Gayatri befriends TV actor, Arjun who is looking for someone to write his film idea.
Episode 4
There are new problems on Aayush’s greenlit film. Rocky’s family gets a new film for him to star in but he is asked to audition by the director. Meanwhile, Aayush fights with Gayatri because of his closeness with Sanya and pitches her story Swaadanusaar as his own.
Episode 5
Aayush’s two films as screenwriter are announced but he feels that he is slowly losing control over Dhoom Dhadaka. Meanwhile, Aayush gets jealous of Gayatri and Arjun's romantic relationship and she learns from a third person about Aayush’s foul play in selling her script as his.
