Episode 1

Soon to retire Detective Inspector Mavor becomes embroiled in a case involving a series of murders, carried out by the unknown "Easterman". On investigating he discovers that Easterman was the homosexual lover of a man he killed some time before and now he is out for revenge.

Episode 2

Working on a computer project Martha Fredricks finds herself impeded by one of her colleagues Mark Hawkins. Hawkins is in secret communication with the computer, taking money from the bank to invest in the stock market. Collecting the interest and replacing the original money, he goes unnoticed, until Fredricks discovers his scheme.

Episode 3

Young Matthew Ward is stuck between feuding parents, his work obsessed father, and his adulterous, self obsessed mother. When an ancient book on the occult falls into Matthew's hands he believes its spells hold the key to all his problems.

Episode 4

Sir Wilfred Grafton is Chairman of the board of his own company, on that board sits his own son Toby, who's attempting to remove his father. Toby introduces Karen, his Fiancée to Sir Wilfred, she's the image of his dead wife, Wilfred believes it's being done to bring about his downfall.

Episode 5

MP Sir Robert Haines is busy giving television interviews about justice, and at the same time tying to strike a deal with a very dubious, Arab former leader. It's Friday night, which he spends with his mistress Jean, but someone has a score to settle with him.

Episode 6

An army officer attends a course to test his resistance to enemy interrogation. But are the interrogators all they appear to be and who should he trust?
