The creative conflict sends Charlie into a spiral that finds him mimicking the drama of Taylor’s Swift’s re-records, as he galvanizes fans to only listen to “Charlie’s Version” of the Roku Pro TV jingle.

As part of his ongoing effort to stay relevant, Charlie Puth stalks “Weird Al” Yankovic in hopes that he’ll parody one of Charlie’s tracks. When Al’s team passes, Charlie turns to Artificial Intelligence in a satire that provides commentary on the future of pop music (and life in general), when we allow machines to replace humans.

While guest lecturing at School of Rock, Charlie endears himself to all but one student—a mean girl who loves just one thing: One Direction. Charlie must find a way out of this dilemma. Again. But this time he has some direction.
