The series focuses on a race of monsters known as The Mordeo, humanoid beings with deer skulls for heads and a never-ending appetite for human flesh. Humans that consume human flesh in the woods that the Mordeo inhabit undergo a supernatural transformation to become one, whether they are willing to do so or not.

Even the shelter of a cabin can't keep out the Mordeo, especially if it transforms inside. It's time for Linda to get the hell out of these woods.
Episode 5
With the other wanderers wiped out, the lone survivor looks for an escape route through the forest, but her path leads her to a direct encounter with The Mordeo Queen.
