The Case of the Dangerous Robin is an American crime drama series which aired in syndication from October 1960, to July 1961. The series stars Rick Jason. It was produced by Ziv Television Productions, the company responsible for such hit series as Sea Hunt and Highway Patrol.
Episode 1
The opening episode is about the recovery of a $200.000 jade piece in Acapulco by Robin Scott, insurance investigator extraordinaire.
Episode 2
Investigating one of many Insurance frauds perpetrated in Guatemala, Robin Scott faces unexpected hazards. Robin runs afoul of big game hunter Mentolmo and a beautiful local businesswoman who claim they were robbed and demand redress from the insurance company currently hiring Robin.
Episode 3
In Geneva, a masked band of thieves steal a valuable coin collection at gunpoint. Robin is put on the case, and finds out among other things, the stolen ducats were fakes.
Episode 4
Insurance agent Robin Scott is assigned to investigate an airplane, carrying half a million dollars in gold in payment for Arabian oil, which has been hijacked at the Tripoli airport. The quest leads him to a Spanish beauty and an ex-Nazi officer.
Episode 5
A bus carrying a number of people including Emma Stroud has been blown up by a bomb planted in her luggage by her son, Gilbert. Robin, investigating the case, is convinced that Gilbert is guilty. As he uncovers vital evidence, he is knocked unconscious by the boy and imprisoned and threatened with a terrible death.
Episode 6
Robin goes to Paris to try to find two highly insured emeralds belonging to Caroline Agoura, which ostensibly went overboard with her late husband, Paul. By working with Tou Tou, a clumsy Parisian second-story man, Robin learns that Agoura is not dead, is a vague but notorious smuggler, who uses the emeralds as collateral for his deals.
Episode 7
A heavily insured Shakespeare First Folio is stolen from London University. Robin Scott is hired to Investigate the theft. His probe points to a collector and a shady character named Begstone. Robin tricks the two men into a meeting, learns they had a deal, but neither has the folio.
Episode 8
Robin Scott makes a strange alliance with a robber baron. Kang, the robber chieftain, who is accused of stealing the fabulous "Heart of Buddha" ruby. Robin contrives to be captured by Kang. How Robin carries out a strange bargain with the bandit, for his life, makes a fast-moving and exciting climax.
Episode 9
Robin Scott becomes a sniper's target because he drives a sports car identical to that of the assassin’s intended victim. The victim turns out to be a famous rock-and-roll singer and Robin and his fiancee are involved in a double indemnity case.
Episode 10
When Anthony McCord, an American scientist, is attacked and highly sensitive research papers are stolen, insurance investigator Robin Scott (Rick Jason) decides to force the culprit into action by bluffing all the suspects with pointed accusations.
Episode 11
Thelma Henderson is missing, and Rick discovers that her husband Walter has heavily insured her life.
Episode 12
The theft of $100,000 worth of jewels from a Long Island socialite introduces Robin Scott to a gang of dangerous hoodlums disguised as playboys.

Robin investigates the unlikely story by Addison Hanks, a famous author, that his heavily insured original manuscript has been stolen by Mozambique tribesmen.

While inquiring into the theft of Maestro Ascoli's Stradivarius, Robin uncovers a fraud.

As an expert in insurance murders, Robin is propositioned by a mysterious, but distinguished, gentleman named Graves to kill James Clayton. The job requires an expert because Clayton has turned his country estate into an impenetrable fortress. In hopes of determining which of the dead man's three partners is the guilty one.

A heavily insured item is stolen from Harry Medford. The item: a cheap rag doll. Robin goes to Mexico City in hopes of recovering a stolen miniature cradle containing valuable cargo which is concealed in a rag doll.

Robin Scott's apartment is burglarized and bugged by a clever gang of swindlers, headed by Fred Caine, an unscrupulous private eye, and Jack Hayes, who looks and talks like Robin.

The demise of a famous locksmith and the disappearance of the Granada diamond brings Scott to Amsterdam. An Amsterdam jeweler is extremely upset, and for good reason. The fabulous Granada diamond has been stolen from his shop.

Rumor has it that a valuable cargo of tin was thrown overboard during a storm. Robin heads for the Orient to check out the report.

The State Unemployment Insurance Organization calls Robin to investigate a young boy found beaten to death with 5 Social Security cards in his pocket.
