Celebrity chef Anna Haugh is embarking on a culinary journey from Ballycastle in County Antrim to Cork city for Anna Haugh's Big Irish Food Tour. Anna will be travelling around Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, exploring the culture and cuisine of her home. In each episode, Anna will be joined by a celebrity guest to meet the people behind some local produce and sample an array of ingredients and flavours the island of Ireland has to offer.
Episode 1
Comedian Katherine Ryan’s memories of her grandmother’s cooking gave her a poor view of Irish food, but Anna hopes that a trip to the English Market will change that.
Episode 2
The Black Ball Final made Dennis Taylor a household name. At home in Tyrone, Anna recreates his grandmother’s soda bread and they join fishermen to celebrate the Lough Neagh eel.
Episode 3
Mrs Brown's Boys actor Eilish O'Carroll joins Anna to explore their native Dublin. They head to Moore Street where the traditional market meets global street food.
Episode 4
Comedian Ed Byrne escapes to the Wicklow mountains with Anna for a hike and a surprise meal. They spot sika deer in Glendalough and visit a farm producing halloumi-style cheese.
Episode 5
Anna visits the stunning Glens of Antrim with garden designer Diarmuid Gavin. She calls in at Broughgammon Farm after which they both help plant Ireland's favourite crop - potatoes.
Episode 6
Vanessa Feltz wants Anna to check out the culinary delights of east Cork. She sends her to help out with lambing before venturing to Ballycotton Harbour to sample the seafood.
Episode 7
Anna visits Belfast for the first time, guided by boxer Carl Frampton. She learns about Veda bread, cooks for tourists learning about the Titanic and discovers Fifteens.
Episode 8
Presenter Angela Scanlon invites Anna to explore County Mayo’s rugged coast. A visit to Achill Island salt producers is followed by harvesting mussels from the stunning Clew Bay.
Episode 9
Anna meets Derry Girls actor Ian McElhinney in Portrush. He reminisces about his love of dulse, a local seaweed snack. Anna harvests some before the pair work on a pig farm.
Episode 10
Sligo, often called Ireland's hidden gem, is full of culinary delights. Actor Pauline McLynn shows Anna around as they are put to work on an oyster farm during the busy season.
Episode 11
London-based TV presenter Laura Whitmore still considers the Wicklow coast her true home. She and Anna visit Airfield Estate urban farm to learn how to grow their own vegetables.
Episode 12
Wildlife broadcaster Liz Bonnin has travelled the world but keeps coming back to County Clare. Anna finds out about preserving heritage crops and they meet a goat cheesemaker.
Episode 13
In Galway, Anna joins rugby legend Bundee Aki who needs help with his cooking skills. Anna meets a farmer producing organic beef, the two go to work on a high-welfare egg farm.
Episode 14
Anna joins popstar Una Healy in Tipperary. From the Rock of Cashel, they meet a family duo making black pudding. Later, they collect honey at a farm dedicated to saving native bees.
Episode 15
Shayne Ward invites Anna along as he retraces his Irish Traveller roots in County Louth. They meet one of Ireland’s last remaining tinsmiths and harvest cabbages at a local farm.
