Episode 1
Charles is the groom's closest friend, but not his best man. He comes to a sad realisation as Charles reflects on being overlooked. Performed by Brian James Leys, Charles gives a bitter-sweet speech about not finding a love of his own.
Episode 2
Tems works her first Black and Scottish wedding making her reflect on her own Scottishness. Performed by Lola Aluko, Tems, who moved to Scotland from Naija to pursue a career in acting and modelling, acts as a commentator to the reception.
Episode 3
Uncle GG tries to regain his dignity in the family through one last bet. A respected elder, but family outcast, Uncle GG finds himself at the wedding but also at a family crossroads.
Episode 4
Amber reflects on her mixed-race heritage following the family gathering. Part teen rebel and filled with insecurity, the pressures of social media only make matters worse for her.
Episode 5
Away from the family for years, Mary prepares herself for a long-awaited return. Along the way she recalls the events that alienated her in the first place.
Episode 6
A mother prepares her new daughter in law for the African wedding reception. Rich in wisdom, the mother of the groom muses over her relationship with her family.
