Overview: The courtroom is completely filled to capacity -- lawyer Ayame Kajin (Kumiko Aso) sits in the defendant's seat. "What was that crime... for?" she mutters, as if asking herself... "I will defend you." Lawyer Ayame Kajin (Kumiko Aso) listens to the plea of Natsune Minamoto (Kana Kita) who is crying, "Help my husband!" and visits the detention center to see her husband, Toya Minamoto (Akihisa Shiono). Toya is suspected of being the "murderer" in the mysterious death of Ayame's mentor, university professor Okutaro Nada (Shiro Sano). Nada's wife Yoko Mogami (Misuzu Kanno) testifies that she saw Toya leaving the scene last night when the incident occurred.
