A former basketball team captain finds himself in a tough situation as he is forced to join the school's boys' volleyball varsity team composed of queer members.

Uno gets kicked out of Brixton High's basketball varsity team after being involved in a brawl during a game. Desperate to save his athletic scholarship, he tries out for the boys' volleyball team led by his estranged friend Jared.

Upon learning that the boys' volleyball team is in danger of being dissolved, Jared enlists his cousin Farrah's help to gain recruits for his team. Despite Uno's potential, his and Jared's bitter past becomes a hurdle for him to pass the tryouts.
