Benny causes an accident after borrowing Lil's TV set and leaving the wires trailing across the living room floor. Lil is confined to bed after tripping over the wires and Benny's penance is to do the housework for her until she recovers. But Benny is suspicious as to the extent of her injuries so, after several days of drudgery, he decides to test her out...

Benny decides to make an honest woman of Molly and invites Wally and Lil to a posh restaurant to celebrate. As usual, Wally ends up paying the bill!

Lil is anxious to have her bedroom redecorated and Benny offers to do the job for half-price. When she sees how little he has done on the first day she fires him - a decision she lives to regret.

Foggy Night

Episode 6

When Benny and Molly are stranded in the fog, they turn up at the Briggs' house asking to stay the night. A reluctant Lil has to let them stay but is determined to get her own back on Wally's sponging brother.
