Overview: Beth and Tom visit a comatose Carly in the hospital. When they hit a squirrel on the way home, Beth becomes obsessed with saving it, going to great lengths to help the animal despite the objections of her husband and friends. Later - it becomes clear to all that the squirrel is a symbol of something much more important in Beth's life.
