She also finds out what happens to injured troops who have returned to the UK from Afghanistan, and is impressed by the high speeds of the ambulance

Angela Griffin deals with 999 calls at the emergency operation centre, including reports of a knife attack and a woman giving birth. Nurse Andy Thurgood then takes her to the scene of a serious traffic incident

Episode 4

Angela Griffin joins a team of volunteer doctors, nurses and paramedics based in the West Midlands, who provide care at the roadside. She witnesses the aftermath of a traffic collision in which a child was injured, and other cases include a fire in a family home and a crash involving an ambulance

Episode 5

Angela Griffin rides along with two members of a Birmingham ambulance crew on an eventful shift. She helps them calm a drunken youth, tend a 57-year-old having a heart attack, and console a girl concerned over her suicidal ex-boyfriend. A naked man is also found outside in freezing temperatures

Episode 6

Angela Griffin joins paramedics in Stoke-on-Trent who attend the scene of a traffic collision and treat a teacher experiencing chest pains. She also hears from one of the service's regular callers, who is prone to excessive alcohol consumption

Episode 7

Angela Griffin witness a seizure, a suspected case of meningitis and a woman being resuscitated.

Episode 8

Angela Griffin attends the scene of a traffic collision involving a woman who claims to have been concerned about a casserole, and meets an individual affected by the death of a cat

Episode 9

Angela Griffin deals with a stabbing, a child with epilepsy and a woman in labour

Episode 10

Angela helps the paramedics treat a person with a chronic lung condition and assists with the aftermath of a traffic collision.
