Panyo Panyo Di Gi Charat is the prequel to the popular anime series Di Gi Charat. It features Princess Dejiko and Puchiko as young children home at planet Di Gi Charat. The two and their friends Meek and Rinna set off to bring happiness to the citizens of planet Di Gi Charat, while Piyoko and Deji Devil try to stop them.
Episode 1
After reading about a famous philanthropist, Dejiko wishes to abandon her princess duties to go out and help people throughout Di Gi Charat. But escaping the castle walls is easier said than done.
Episode 2
Dejiko, Puchiko, and Gema are walking along until they come across a line of people before a cake shop. Because the baker, Rinna, sleeps in often, there's no telling when it'll open. So the trio takes matter into their own hands with Dejiko naturally leading the way. They learn a valuable baking lesson and in the process make a new friend.
Episode 3
Right after the narcoleptic Rinna decides to join the gang, a cat leaps on Dejiko's face. All make an ill start with another girl by named MeeK who is in hot pursuit of the cat because it stole a fish from her family's shop. In helping MeeK set traps, all learn how deep the cat's reasons run.
Episode 4
New antagonists Deji Devil and Piyoko have arrived on Di Gi Charat to make everyone sad. When Dejiko and company (MeeK now a part of the team) pass them by, the duo picks up information about a contest to decide the best behaved child. But when Piyoko cheats her way to the top, the prize is less than what she expected.
Episode 5
Dejiko is asked to replace a movie star who's been rushed to the hospital. However, a mischievous boy also has the same intentions.
Episode 6
Piyoko and Deji Devil introduce themselves to the heroes, who don't consider them a threat. The duo intends on injuring Dejiko if they weren't as airheaded as her and her friends.
Episode 7
Dejiko finally starts filming with Piyoko ruining things at every turn.
Episode 8
More filmmaking craziness abound! The crew is scared off by a ghost, so Dejiko and company pick up slack in teaching a little girl how to ride a bike. But the girl isn't what she seems.
Episode 9
Irritated at catching his favorite show too late, Deji Devil makes the bell tower attendees - Dejiko and company - put in overtime.
Episode 10
Dejiko, Puchiko, Rinna, MeeK, and Gema balance between belltower responsibilities and aiding an artist who has yet to paint something.
Episode 11
Dejiko and Puchiko are whisked off to a fancy party at the castle. Rinna and MeeK also wish to attend but haven't anything nice to wear until the sneaky Deji Devil lends a hand.
Episode 12
One strike of the belltower's bell sends a time-travelling boy falling out. The gang can't make up their minds which point in time they want to visit...or can they?
Episode 13
Calling themselves the Phantom Thieves of Di Gi Charat, the gang continues helping people Robin Hood-style. A greedy toy collector enlists the aid of Piyoko and Deji Devil, who have their own plans for his spoils.
Episode 14
A brother and sister want to see the stars, but light pollution from a nearby amusement park hinders the opportunity. And Piyoko literally goes Sherlock Holmes when she and the carnival believe the Phantom Thieves plan on stealing the park's glass imitation diamond.
Episode 15
The Phantom Thieves try their hand at freeing a dolphin from a dirty tank.
Episode 16
Deji Devil has studied the Phantom Thieves for a while, and now Detective Piyoko is ready to stop them at all costs. However, even though she does trap them, the valuables at stake aren't what they seem.
Episode 17
MeeK's family's fish market is facing a crisis: nothing available except empty carts and sea slugs. So Dejiko vows they'll get to the bottom of this and, if not find more products, then go treasure-hunting as pirates.
Episode 18
News of the gang's pirate exploits reaches a certain two, who give the unsuspecting five a map to a trap-filled cave.
Episode 19
The reason for an empty fish market and empty ocean is revealed in the midst of MeeK's sea slug nightmares: a mountain-sized whale she knows as the King of the Seas. The poor cetacean has an anchor caught in his tail, which can only be removed by Dejiko's eye lasers.
Episode 20
Everybody except Puchiko is ready to give up the treasure hunt. Just when they finally find something, Deji Devil and Piyoko come back for more and in the process cause an eruption. Again, the prize isn't what it seems.
Episode 21
Deji Devil enters Piyoko in a race to make up for her snubbed allowance. But winning is easier said than done for all participants, especially when Puchiko and MeeK wax competitive against each other.
Episode 22
In an event continuing where the previous episode last left off, a pig larger than several others is ridiculed by all except one because of his great size.
Episode 23
The same race as before continues with a boat race. Team Dejiko and Team MeeK get their oars stuck in underwater glue while Team Piyoko proceeds ahead. To complicate things further, a lost mermaid needs help to return to the sea.
Episode 24
Only Team Piyoko and Team Dejiko remain. Both find an egg in the race's conclusion and argue over what animal laid it.
Episode 25
Dejiko and MeeK argue over who keeps eating up their doughnuts with Rinna, Gema, and Puchiko listening on the side. A closer analysis exposes the culprit to be a hungry ghost.
Episode 26
After witnessing Dejiko and her friends stop ghosts from terrorizing people in a park, a wealthy man requests their services for his mansion.
Episode 27
A boy needs help apologizing to his grandfather, whose spirit can't leave, for losing a toy airplane and dumping the blame on the dead family member.
Episode 28
Piyoko and Deji Devil prank others at a mansion different from the last. But when more players enter the fray, new madness ensues.
Episode 29
A kidnap threat leads to Dejiko being protected by a washed-up bodyguard accompanied by a deceptive yet desperate secretary.
Episode 30
Inspired by the last escapade, Dejiko and company take up jobs as bodyguards for a dog with an admirer.
Episode 31
Now the group works for a famous pop singer with whom Gema is smitten. A voice change invoked by Deji Devil adds on to the difficulty.
Episode 32
The gang guards what appears as a visiting prince and gives him a wonderfully wild time. And when it comes to him, MeeK is lovestruck.
Episode 33
Everybody goes "Sleeping Beauty" as Dejiko and company - somehow turned into fairies - seek out Princess Piyoko's true love, a prince who's staying by the side of an old woman waiting for HER true love.
Episode 34
Parody of The Pied Piper! Dejiko, Puchiko, Rinna, MeeK, and Gema compete against Piyoko and Deji Devil to rid a town of a rat infestation. Too bad none of them are professionals.
Episode 35
The "happy house" Deji Devil and Piyoko have to lure children in stinks. Piyoko has an idea: Why not make a gingerbread house? But even with the skills an expert baker imparts, convincing potential customers is another thing.
Episode 36
In this rendition of "The Little Mermaid", the gang helps a mermaid keep from turning herself into sea foam and win the heart of the man she loves.
Episode 37
In their first mission as the Di Gi Charat Rescue Team, the gang attempts rescuing a kitten stuck atop a pole. As always, leave it to Piyoko and Deji Devil to ruin things, and Dejiko ends up being the one who needs help.
Episode 38
The Di Gi Charat Rescue Team works hard at putting out fires. But because of their overzealous attitudes and Piyoko's cunning, they may be doing more harm than good.
Episode 39
An old man ends up helping the Di Gi Charat Rescue Team rather than vice versa when they find him and a mysterious companion situated inside a rock house.
Episode 40
An unknown voice leads the Di Gi Charat Rescue Team around the landscape in a need for ecological awareness.

The gang enters a race to win a lifetime supply of snacks. Although Rinna tends to be slow and sleepy, everyone will be surprised to see how she shines this time.

An amateur baseball team needs encouragement only the group can share.

The gang aids a disheartened soccer player who made a promise to his younger brother.

Dejiko wants to enter a tennis competition by herself in order to win a free house, prompting her friends to join forces with Piyoko and Deji Devil. What are the princess' intentions?

Christmastime has reached the group's hometown, but Santa Claus is nowhere to be found!

With Christmas on its way, Piyoko and Deji Devil are more than itching to make everybody sad. But not even a brain-buster of a present description can stop Santa and his helpers both new and old.

Deji Devil pulls out all the stops to get Christmas cancelled.
