Alias the Jester was a British animated series created by Cosgrove Hall Films, airing in 13 episodes on ITV starting on 13 November 1985. The show also aired during the Australian Broadcasting Corporation's after school timeslot and is considered one of the Classic ABC shows. GBC TV in Gibraltar aired the series multiple times in the late eighties, notably as a filler during the children's 630pm - 730pm weekday slot.

A con-man persuades Sir Pinkley to buy a magical set of armour.

King Arthur is upset about "the drought, the lack of rain, the absence of precipitation!" and orders Meredith to remedy the situation.

The Black Najjer comes back to Houghton Bottoms for Revenge. He turns Meredith into a slimy creature and then announces to King Arthur and Queen Edith that he is the new court wizard.
Episode 12
An imp steals some of Meredith's magical supplies.
Episode 13
Princess Amaranth is kidnapped by the Beast.
