However Joseph remains steadfast and puts trust in the one true God whilst renovating parts of the capital in preparation for the looming famine. Jacob attends a funeral and supplicates for his kin. The monks try to hinder Josephs efforts in filling the wheat depositories. Zuleikha hits rock bottom in her perennial desolation.
