Twelve years after Diya promised Ratan Maan Singh's dying father that she will protect his child from all dangers, she continues to honour her promise amidst the intrigue of his royal household.

The story begins with Kesar Mehal. Maan Singh and Padma died in an accident years ago. Their son, Ratan Singh, whose life is under threat, is protected by Diya. Even after a decade, Diya has not forgotten her vow given to Maan Singh. As Diya foils one more assassination attempt on Ratan Singh, will she finally unmask the faceless men?

Diya wants to inform Ratan about the threat to his life before he arrives in India. But, Diya gets shocked to find out that Ratan is arriving in India. She gets ready and leaves to meet Ratan fearing that the people who want to see him dead might be aware of his arrival.

When Chote Thakur asks for the sword from Ratan, Diya refuses to hand over the sword. She decides to fight Chote Thakur and teach him a lesson. When Diya wins the sword fight, Chote Thakur has no other option but to devise another plan. Will Diya be able to save Ratan?

Diya stops Ratan from having the dessert specially prepared for him. The family members are perplexed and ask Diya about it. She informs that someone has poisoned the dessert. Will she find out that Chote Thakur was involved?

While Diya is busy with her work, Ratan Singh manages to find a way out of the palace without being caught by the guards. Unknown to him, two men are on his trail. Will Diya find Ratan before the men kidnap him?

Ratan wanders into the dense forest and Diya follows him closely behind. The sharpshooters follow Ratan in an attempt to kill him. Will Diya be able to save Ratan before he is caught by the sharpshooters?

Diya manages to rescue Ratan. Then, Ratan argues that Yash might have a hand in the recurring attacks on him. Diya assures Ratan that Yash is loyal to him. Yash assures that he will catch the attackers soon. Will Yash be able to catch the attackers?

Choti Thakurayan tells Ratan that she bought golden shoes for everyone from a cultural exhibition. Ratan suggests Yash get a sketch made of the culprit from a sketch artist. Everyone is confused and try to solve the mystery. Priya alone in her room throws her crutch and informs her aide over the phone that she will kill the shooter herself before he opens his mouth.

Diya and Ratan return home from the police station. Priya also returns home. Choti Thakurayan tells children a story of two cats fighting each other looking at Diya and Priya. Yash walks to Priya's room reminiscing ghunghat wearing tea lady attacking him. Her hands shiver holding the gun and she throws throwing chilly powder and escapes. Ratan suspects that it was her mother. Diya challenges to find the culprit in 15 days.
Episode 14
Ratan starts taunting Diya reading her diary. Yash during morning work out fights with a man and then says he lost babasa, his father, Raghu Singh. Yash asks the reason for him living away from his wife. He says some secrets are better-kept secret. Isha informs Bua that Ratan wants to sell off all the properties.
Episode 15
Diya speaks to Ratan over the phone and says she will reach him soon. She pops in some painkillers and tries to leave when someone locks the door from outside. Priya wearing veil is seen in store room checking Kesar Mahal's secret book. Ratan takes his friends to the torture chamber and shows them all dangerous equipments. He demonstrates each equipment and gets his neck stuck in one.
Episode 16
Ratan unconsciously sits on a punishment chair and opens the bucket rope knot filled with hot wax. Diya notices Ratan and saves him. Ratan calls every family member to warn them that the culprit will get the punishment. Will Diya be able to catch the culprit?
Episode 17
Diya walks towards Choti Thakurayan's room speaking to Yash that they have to check each employee of the palace even if he is employed for 2 days and find out who corrected death chair in torture room. Yash asks Diya why did not she trust him and inform him about Choti Thakurayan beforehand.

Ratan is happy after Choti Thakurayan is arrested and plays a prank on Diya. He also asks her out on a date and she agrees. Yash tries to console Choti Thakurayan in the lock-up and brings food for her. Priya informs Raghu about the situation as to how Diya alleged Choti Thakurayan and she accepted the allegations and got arrested.

Ratan's aunt manages to prove her innocence. Ratan finds it hard to believe that Diya was wrong in her judgement. He vents out his anger on Diya as she is left in disbelief about the sudden turn in events.

Yash scolds Ratan after he behaved badly with Diya while she saved his life. It takes some convincing and later Ratan apologizes to Diya. The maid informs Isha that Ratan has freed Diya from all her duties and asked her to leave. Isha is happy with the information and informs Bua the same thing. Ratan's friends tell Ratan that Diya cares for him too much and she might have strong feelings for him.

Ratan is eager to find out about Diya's next plan and so are the people who want to see Ratan dead. Diya cleverly dodges the question, Ratan puts before her about her next move. And in this process, the two end up coming together. What is Diya's next move?

Abhay proposes Diya for marriage. Diya says that it is all old talks now, and 12 years is a long time. She is getting engaged to Ratan Sa. He tells her that he waited for her for 12 years and says that he will return with answers this time. He takes the ring and says that Choti thakurayan has invited him for dinner. Diya is upset.

Jeweller Kedia brings the designs of the engagement ring. Choti Thakurayan says Ratan and Diya are tired. Diya says she is very excited to select the ring. Abhay says he shall leave now. Sakshi asks him to stay back and says we need your suggestion also in selecting the ring. Abhay agrees. Yash sees the CCTV footage and wonders where is the attacker hiding. Priya is going to her room. Yash comes there and asks her where is she going? Priya says she is going to her room. Yash asks her to sit for some time. Diya asks him about the attacker. Yash says it seems he has eloped. Abhay asks him to catch the attacker.

Diya tells Ayush that she is very upset with the person calling Abhay and says she will ask him that who called him. She informs regarding the misunderstanding that is created between Ratan and her. Jhunki comes there and hears them. Diya smiles and asks Ayush if he is sure that Abhay is not in his room. Ayush says yes and gives her the keys. Jhunki goes and informs Priya. Ratan searches for the flowers of the bouquet. He gets a dry flower in the diary and thinks this means she still loves Abhay. Ratan searches her stuff. Yash asks why is he seeing her personal things. Ratan says that he is going to share a life with her. Yash tells Ratan that Diya and he love each other, and tells that it was Diya's past life, which she has forgotten. Ratan asks him to tell everyone if he loses and says it is a deal. Isha comes to Abhay's room.

Abhay comes to the room and sees Diya and Ratan on each other. Ratan says that there is nothing as such. Diya says she is going to be engaged to Ratan soon. Abhay takes out the sword given by Choti Thakuranisa and looks at Diya. He says she is still the same as before and knows well that she is his life. He keeps the sword on Ratan's neck, but Diya holds the sword. Will Diya tell the truth to Abhay?

Bhuvan asks Choti Thakuranisa to do something, or else Diya will not give them a room in the hotel. Choti Thakuranisa asks him to let her sleep and asks him to sleep as well. Diya says that tomorrow all drama will end, then you can search for a girlfriend, who will love you very much. Ratan thinks he can help Diya with the preparation. Priya and her husband plan to blast Diya and give her liquid explosive. Priya keeps it in her stick.

Choti Thakuranisa and Nitya dance with the dancers as Ratan and Diya sit for engagement. Sakshi also dances on the morning song. Diya also dances and thinks that who will attack me today. Isha also dances. Priya goes to a corner and is about to inject the coconut. Sakshi comes and calls her. Priya dances a bit and goes again. Yash comes in front of her. She says she wants water. Ratan is on the horse, when Choti Thakuranisa signs a servant and he lights crackers in front of the horse. The horse gets crazy and makes Ratan fall down. Ratan asks Diya how can she lie easily and asks how can she manage all the words easily, enemy, savior, etc. He says that he heard what she said and trusted her blindly. He says he doesn't like Kakusa, but his doubt is not wrong. He tells that whenever he was attacked, she saved him. He says that if she is so intelligent then why was the attacker not caught.

Diya decides to return all the papers to Ratan and leave forever. Bhuvan, Sakshi, and Mohak come to arrest Diya. Bhuvan informs that he has not done this, its Ratan's orders which he is following. Diya is shattered and doesn't resist or say anything. Bhuvan announces to everyone that whoever betrays Ratan, this is what will happen to them. Officers bring Diya down in handcuffs/chain. Ratan and Diya look at each other and turn their face away. Yash comes and tells Bhuvan to stop the act and tells Ratan that she is their friend and it is illegal to imprison someone.

Seeing that Ratan is not keeping well, Diya decides to get him a few medicines. In her absence, Ratan is called to participate in a challenge by his friends. Diya while searching for Ratan, stumbles upon the scene, and fearing that he is drowning, dives in the water.

Diya learns that Ratan has informed his friends about him being single. Diya feels dejected as Ratan has not acknowledged their relationship with his friends. Seeing their quarrel is Abhay, whose sole intention is to create animosity between the two.

Choti Thakurayan gets to know this and plans to stop it.

Choti Thakurayan comes to know the truth about Diya and Ratan and confronts Diya that if they break their marriage, Ratan has to leave the position of Daata Hukum and will be treated the same way as he treated Abhay in front of everyone and also tells her to make the marriage work anyhow. Yash and Mohana get engaged and everyone shares their happiness until Arpita comes there and claims that Diya attacked Abhay with a bottle in Goa because of which he was admitted to the hospital and was in a coma for four days.
