Kitty struggles to accept her divorced mother embarking upon a new relationship; her attempts to thwart this relationship are hampered by her younger sister's acceptance of this "new dad" in their lives.
Episode 1
When divorcee Rosie falls for an older, rather conventional man, the family's all-female bliss is destroyed. The ensuing havoc is seen through the eyes of 12-year-old Kitty.
Episode 2
As Gerald becomes a regular visitor Kitty determines to make trouble. She begins a vicious sabotage campaign, and Rosie can do nothing to stop her. But when Gerald unexpectedly saves her bacon, Kitty almost starts to like him.
Episode 3
Gerald offends Kitty just when she is beginning to trust him. But when things go wrong, she is glad to have him around.
Episode 4
The family is back to three females... but they miss Gerald.
