The connection between Koichi’s heritage and the ancient warrior-god has finally become clear. But after a disastrous battle with Hiruko, Koichi makes a horrifying discovery: Susanoo suffered his one and only defeat at the hands of Hiruko, and mortal host - the position currently held by Koichi - was killed in the battle. Summoning his remaining strength to protect Teruml, whose arcane powers are no match for the dragon-god, Koichi finds himself reliving the ancient battle of his ancestor.
