Overview: YEE mistakes that SHUN has asked YUNG to hand her the love letter. She pretends to be good to YUNG so as to incite SHUN. YUET has stolen the signboard of Yee’s Lodge in order to force TSAN to go out and have fun with her. TSAN leaves Yee’s Lodge as soon as he has got back the signboard. YUET follows him. Seeing that TSAN and HEI behaving rather intimately, she goes to the CHAN’s and scolds HEI for being a whore. HEI explains to her family members that her marriage with LOK is only a fake one. SHUN does not believe her though. He knows HEI is telling the truth only when Mother HO, a servant, supports HEI. He makes up with HEI and asks her to go back to Lok Fung Hong and to be in charge of it. TAI and KWAI have come up with a treatment that helps people quit opium. They hand it out free on the street. People in Sam Shing Tong is unhappy about this and they go and make trouble at KWAI’s medicine shop……
