Overview: LAI has returned from England. She tells SHUN that she no longer has strong affections for him. She devotes herself to strengthen her influence in the company. CIB is working hard to dig out the headquarters of a cross-boundary counterfeit credit card syndicate. SHUN meets YAN while he is shopping for his son who is studying in England. YAN, who has a broken marriage, encourages SHUN to court LAI again. Following her advice, he starts dating LAI again. However, his action further reinforces LAI’s belief that she does not love him anymore. LAI begins to fight against YIN. Firstly, she pretends that she is still in England. Secondly, she deliberately lets YIN know she is lying. And finally, she alienates LAI from a potential investor, who later decides to withdraw his investment in the magazine. YIN is defeated completely. She runs into CHING when they are going to watch the meteor shower respectively……
