Overview: The Sultan is going to celebrate Eid with Shah Turkan. Qutub Begum blames Razia for this misfortune. To save the day, Razia decides to send Fatima with a message to her brother, Nasir. He is on his way home after spending time at Ghazni with his mentor, Taj al-Din Yildiz, the Sultan of Ghazni and a friend of Iltutmish. Turkan is anxious to ask the Sultan to appoint her son as the Subedar of Delhi. Rana Martand, the commander-in-chief, interrupts the Sultan and Turkan's celebration.
